RACE AND COURSE
This event is a mountain running race, part of the Circuito della Valley dei Segni Mountain Cup organized by A.S.D. CiMa athletics in collaboration with the GEM (Malegno Hiking Group) with assistance along the way.
The route is approximately 4 km long with a difference in height of 750 meters (from 300 meters to 1050 meters above sea level).
The race starts from Malegno, in via Sabbiolo n. 3, and arrives at the slopes of Mount Guna, as indicated on the map.
The race is open to all adult Italian athletes in possession of a medical certificate for athletics/ mountaineering-ski/skyrunning-mountaineering valid on the day of the race.
The certificate must be uploaded in .jpg or .pdf format on the website indicated by the organization, in case of online registration, or in paper format together with the registration form.
Foreign athletes are required to complete and deliver the document downloadable from The Race/Medical Certificate page, completed in all its parts.
The race will be held in all weather conditions*.
REGISTRATIONS
Registrations are open from 08 May 2024 at 12.00 to 19 September 2024, via
online procedure on the website www.endu.net (link on the Enroll Now! page of this website), or by filling in a paper form available at the points indicated by the organization.
- The registration fee is €15 until June 30th, €20 from July 1st to August 11th, €25 from August 12th to September 15th, €30 from September 16th to September 19th.
- The member has the right to timing, personalized bib number, assistance service, refreshment points at the finish line, during the race and at the end, to the goodie bag.
- For collective registrations by sports clubs, there is the right to take advantage of one free registration for every 9 paid ones.
- The commissions of the company that manages online registrations may be added to the registration cost.
- It will be possible to consult the complete list of registered participants starting at 10 am on 15 September 2024 on the website: https://www.vallecamonicavertical.it and on the Facebook page of the event.
- Registration is strictly personal, it cannot be transferred in any case to third parties without the prior authorization of the organizing committee and in any case no later than 12 September 2024. The cost (administrative fee) for changing bib numbers is €5.
- The total refund of the registration fee will be provided under no circumstances, unless the event is cancelled. In this case it will be possible to keep the registration valid for the following year.
TIME SCHEDULE AND START
The starting area of the course is located in via Sabbiolo 3 in Malegno (Bs) and will take place simultaneously for each category of athletes (divided according to gender). All the athlets (men and women) will start around 20.00. Any changes to the departure time will be displayed on the official website Vallecamonicavertical.it. Anyone who does not show up at the start at the time set for their category will be excluded from the competition. In order to guarantee the safety and regularity of the event, the organization may establish any changes to the departure time on site.
TIMING, BIBS AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The timing will be managed internally, with technology based on the use of chips, according to the information and conditions on the use of the same published on the relevant website. Failure or incorrect use of the chip by the competitor will result in the non-inclusion in the ranking and the non-attribution of the time spent.
The bib must be worn on the chest or belly and always be made visible in its entirety throughout the race. It must therefore be placed over all clothing and in no case fixed elsewhere.
The athlete is obliged to have the front light on during the entire duration of the race.
It is obligatory for each competitor who is overtaken by another asking for the way, to favor the overtaking of the following competitor.
PRIZES AND SCORES
The first 10 absolute classified men and the first 10 absolute women will be awarded. The entity of the prizes, and the eventual attribution of special or category recognitions will be specified on the event website https://www.vallecamonicavertical.it in the section “Montepremi”.

Participation in the race called “Vallecamonica Vertical” implies acceptance by the registered competitors in all its parts and without reservations of this regulation.
IMAGE RIGHTS
Each competitor expressly renounces the use of image rights during the test, as well as renounces any recourse against the organization and its authorized partners for the use made of his image.
PRIVACY INFORMATION AND CONSENT
The personal data provided will be processed using paper and electronic methods in compliance with current legislation and the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and confidentiality. At any time it is possible to exercise all the rights indicated by the art. 7 of Legislative Decrete no. 196/2003, in particular the cancellation, rectification or data integration. The processing of personal data is ensured in compliance with EU GDPR 679/2016. With the registration the participant expressly authorizes the CiMa Athletic Association and the Mountain Community of Valle Camonica to resume, through television, cinema or other means, its image in the course of the event, recognizing the Association’s broadest right to record, reproduce, print it, publish it, project it, disseminate it and in any case use it by any means currently known or that will be invented in the future, without limits of time and space and to yield to one’s partners commercial and institutional rights to use the image also for promotional purposes and/or advertising.
ACCEPTANCE OF REGULATIONS AND DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
By registering, each competitor undertakes to accept and comply with these Regulations of the event and any modification, integration or new communication that may be published on the official website of the event is to be understood as an integral part of the same. Each competitor accepts the route, the technical indications and the organization of the race as described in this duly, freeing the organizers from any civil or penal liability for any accident or accident, for damage to people or things derived from him or deriving from caused by itself or by third parties connected or connected to the event.

* The organizing committee reserves the right to modify-suspend-cancel the event in the event of particularly adverse weather conditions that could compromise the safety of athletes, the public or volunteers.
